About

Why we built Loon

Loon was founded on a simple belief: small businesses and the lower middle market are the backbone of the American economy.

For decades, the highest quality M&A advisory has largely been reserved for large-scale enterprises. We believe advances in software and AI infrastructure create an opportunity to deliver that same level of rigor, coverage, and execution to founders, operators, and investors building businesses across the lower middle market.

That belief ultimately led me to leave a career in institutional investment banking to build Loon from the ground up - focused entirely on serving the entrepreneurs and investors powering the real economy.
